Camping Lake Tahoe
- Tahoe State Recreation Area Campground – This campground takes reservations up to six months in advance and is close to restaurants and shops when you feel like getting away from the camp site. There is a great bike path that runs through the park and 23 campsites that include food storage containers, fire pits, showers, and restrooms. Water activities, hiking, and biking are all popular at this camping Lake Tahoe spot.
- Meeks Bay Campground – Found between two state parks and directly across from Lake Tahoe this campground offers campers plenty of water activities. This peaceful stretch of Lake Tahoe lets campers enjoy swimming , boating, fishing and water skiing and is on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. There are multiple single family campsites available for both tent and RV camping. Each site includes a table, campfire rings, and grills. There is also flush toilets and drinking water on site.
- Nevada Beach Campground – This pretty campground is on the Nevada/California state line and is surrounded by tall pines with lake views from the campground. Nevada Beach is one of the wider beaches on the lake and guests can enjoy a quieter experience than at other camping spots around the lake. There are plenty of campsites for both tents and RV’s with tables, grills, campfire rings and flushing toilets. Water sports are popular including boating and fishing there is also a walking trail for those that wish to explore.
